I went with the landscape and seascape view for my assignment, with the first three focusing on different trees, and the last three focusing in on other aspects of nature, or objects found within nature around me, in my surroundings. Of the tree-focused photos, two of the three are positioned extremely close to the trunks themselves. One uses a downward angle, while the other had the camera perched directly on the trunk, angled upwards, while the first photo in the row was from future away, facing the tops of the trees, as opposed to focusing on the trunks themselves. The last three photos create the most foreground, middle ground, and background. Specifically, the fifth photo, or the second in the row, uses the chair and the snow on the ground as the foreground, the bushes on the middle ground, and the ambient ocean as the background, to give a bit more of a touch of color to the photo. Although, I would be curious to see how the photo looks without any color at all. Two of my six photos use a vertical display, while the other four keep the normal horizontal display for them. I would think that there is some visual interest in most photos I take, but the fourth photo would be one of my favorites, using the green and brown differences in color to define the photo, pulling the attention to the green of the plant, as opposed to the other grasses in the background. As a whole, I think that my photos convey that each environment has their own unique qualities, which can create beauty and interest in any photo. While some photos I prefer more than others, they all have their individual features which provide to the photo and make them stand out.
